We examined the advantages of leveraging such technology in your digital marketing campaigns and how it impacted the performances of advertisers on the market. The data produced by the technology is used as a resource to upgrade the technology itself and optimizing the campaigns constantly.
In a heavily populated market, Criteo and its Programmatic advertising service must constantly reinvent itself and adapt to the advertisers’ needs.
With a business based on the performances delivered, competition is like battling in an arena where only the companies with a vision of the future, added value with consulting, and a great capacity to adapt to the new rules of the ecosystem (cf: Apple or Google policies on third-party cookies and retargeting) will survive!
Furthermore, what does it mean for our society, and us as consumers? Massive automated advertising system based on our behavior online, will we always see the same ads and remain in a filtering bubble, never discovering new products unrelated to the digital traces we left.
