Development of a statistical model to predict the quality of inputs to a wastewater treatment plant

Sophie Laruelle,  Assistant Professor at University Paris-Est Créteil

Abstract:

In this talk, a statistical analysis of sensor data of the wastewater quality of two wastewater treatment plants (Clichy and Seine-Aval) to build a predictive statistical model of those at the entrance to the Seine-Aval is carried out: presentation of the data and their validation, then analysis of the seasonalities and trends of these series in a deterministic way. This is followed by a study of simple and partial autocorrelograms of the stochastic residual series, as well as cross-correlograms with time lag, to measure the autoregressive, moving-average and cross-effects to determine the appropriate multivariate time series model to use. A discussion of the online implementation of these methods will close the talk.
