Machine Habitus. Toward a sociology of algorithms

The study presented in an upcoming book proposes a sociological theory that sees artificial intelligence systems as social agents, which shape society while being shaped by society in turn. The concept of machine habitus is inspired by the work of French sociologist Pierre Bourdieu.
