This afternoon, the head of QUANT centre, Prof. Guillaume Coqueret, hosted the seminar for prof. Andrianos Tsekrekos, associate professor from Athens University of Economics & Business, at emlyon business school. The speaker was invited by Prof. Dr. Benoît Chevalier-Roignant. The topic of presentation was “Enhancement in Firms’ Information Environment via Options Trading and the Efficiency of Corporate Investment”. EMLYON professors, Ph.D. students, and postdoc researchers attended the seminar and communicated with the speaker in both on-site and online formats. Participants discussed about the association between firm’s information environment and firm-level investment efficiency and the effect of external monitoring and information-enriching mechanism on this association.
